One of the integral parts of the iProject is its ability to display a wide array of files on the fly. In order to do this, the iProject uses a web browser on your local machine for the more common files types to keep overhead and compatibility problems to a minimum. For the most part, the iProject is very good about selecting your default browser, but occasionally it may fail to properly locate your browser, or you may even wish to specify a different one. To choose the browser that the iProject uses to open common files, click the Help menu and choose the Select Web Browser option. A window like the one below will open.
The iProject has built-in support to automatically find Internet Explorer, Netscape, or Mozilla, but you can use virtually any browser. To have the iProject automatically find your browser for you, first select a browser from the drop-down menu in the "Browser Program" box. Next, click the "Search" icon (the one that looks like a magnifying glass) and the iProject will begin scanning your machine for the chosen browser. It should automatically populate the "Executable" and "Command Line" fields in the dialogue box, at which point you can click the "Accept" button. If it does not populate these fields, or you've chosen "Other Browser" and wish to use a browser that iProject doesn't automatically search for, click the "Select Browser" button (it looks like a folder) and browse to the web browser's executable file location. Select the executable and click "Open". The two fields should now be populated, and you should be able to click Accept.
