Sometimes it's useful to know information about a project before you open it, especially as you are given access to many projects. It could also be useful to know exactly how much information is contained within a given project. For these issues, there is a 'Project Statistics' button at the bottom of the project selection screen. To view the statistics about a project, select the project so it is highlighted, and then click the 'Project Statistics' button. You should get a window like the one shown below.

In the example above, we've chosen the iProject Demonstration project, and it's name is displayed at the top of the window. Other information displayed here are the number of directories in the project (101), the total number of files (164), and the total size (in bytes) of the entire project. This dialogue box also shows the names of the top-level directories, for a quick look at what might be in a project. To close the dialogue box, click the 'Close' button on the bottom right-hand corner.
