Task Status

The Task Status window allows you take a quick look at all of the tasks you have access to and view whether or not their input and output folders have data. Similar to the Directory Contents view, this window also allows you to save the structure as an HTML file on your computer. To access the Task Status window, Go to the Reports menu at the top of the window and choose Task Status... The task status window will open, and should look something like the picture below.

The view will show you the project at the top level, the "Task Categories" at the next level down, then the task, and then any input/output data directories. You'll notice that each task has a status next to it. Tasks can be assigned a status based on what state they are in. The task status can be used to declare whether or not there is data to be reviewed, whether or not work is still being performed on the task, and whether or not the task has been completed. Each task status has its own uniquely colored icon as well so you can quickly view the status of a given task. To assign a task a status, right-click on the task name and then hover your mouse over the Set Task Status menu item. A small menu box should pop out to the right with the various task statuses available to you. The statuses that can be assigned to a task are:

No Data No Data - The task has no input or output data.
Has Input Data Has Input Data - The task has input data, but has no work has been started on the task.
Working Working - This state shows that the task has input data and that data is being processed, edited, modified, etc.
Has Output Data Has Output Data - Still a "working state", this status shows that the task is not yet completed, but does have some viewable output data.
Finished Finished - The task work has been completed and the resulting data here is final.
