4. Enable (or Prompt or Administrator-approved)

1. Edit...Preferences
2. Advanced
3. Enable Java

Checking the Java Plug-In Version

1. Open the Java-Plug-In Control Panel:
   • Windows: Start...Settings...Control Panel, then double-click the Java Plug-in icon
   • Linux: Open /usr/java/jre1.4.2_03/ControlPanel.html in a Web Browser.
2. Select the About tab
