System Requirements
- Microsoft Windows 98/NT4/ME/2000/XP on Intel
- Pentium 166 Mhz or faster
- 32 Mb RAM (48 Mb recommended)
- 54 Mb free disk space
- Note: To install the Java Plug-in, you must have permissions to
install software and enter data into the Windows registry.
Installation Instructions
- Uninstall any previous version of the Java Runtime Environment (JRE)
or Java Software Development Kit (J2SDK) using the
Add/Remove Programs utility
(Start ... Settings ...
Control Panel ... Add/Remove Programs).
Note: Installing the JRE versions 1.4 and higher without removing earlier versions can
prevent Internet Explorer from reporting that the Java Plug-In is installed, although the
iProject will still run correctly.
- Download and run the installation program.
- For your convenience, we mirror a copy of the Java Plug-In version
1.4.2-14.
- The latest Java 1.4 version can be downloaded from
Sun Microsystems
We recommend using 1.4.2 for all versions of Windows.
If you are using Microsoft Internet Explorer, you may either save the installation program
to disk and run it from there, or open it directly from the Web site.
